Alexis Masters, author and web developer, has been associated with Educational
Beginnings, Inc. since 1981. She served on the Board of Directors of IWSI
for many years and developed three generations of the IWSI.org website.
Alexis owns and operates Design By Alexis, a full-service, one-woman web
design and development firm. In June of 2000 her first novel,
The Giuliana Legacy, was published by Health Communications, Inc.
(HCI).
While serving as a University of California administrator during the 1980s and early 1990s, Alexis gained a deep appreciation for issues faced by women in developing countries. Her initial interest has only grown over the ensuing years. It is with great pleasure and personal satisfaction that she now contributes time and energy to the website and marketing efforts of Women's Giving Tree.
